Web Services - Serialisation failed

Hi Experts,

I created RFC enabled Function Module for getting PO Header and item Details for particular User from user inbox. Function Module working fine.

After that i created WEB SERVICES to that FM. when i testing web service in WSNAVIGATER it giving error like " Serialisation failed "

Please give me the solution.

Ya you are right it may helpful to others.

Two ways i solved this problem.

First.

I used many standard RFC enabled FM's in my custom FM. When "Serialisation failed" error came i created separately WS to all standard FM's what all i used. In that SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER Function Module gives the same error. Just copied this FM then i used that. After that its working fine.

Second.

After restarting server the same SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER Function Module works fine..

Hi,

It seems your service is not activated/configured correctly. Can you post url of your service (mask hostname etc).
