ALV: How to change Column Text direction from Horizontal to Vertical?

Hi Guys,

I am developing a dynamic ALV list. ThisALV is going to be VERY lengthy and to save space, I was wondering if it is possible to change the text direction of a column. More exactly, instead of the text reading from left to right (Horizontal) in the column header, I need it to display from "top to bottom" (vertical). So the text would take up more Vertical space than Horizontal. This should save the users som e scrolling time.

I have checked all the properties of ALV, but have been unable to find something whereby I can set this text direction.

Please advise if there is anything I need to know, or if it is simply NOT possible to do this in WebDynpro.

I dont think so there is any option for that.

you can try setting the width manually using the set_width method.
