Hi All,
We are looking into modifying existing batch determination strategy while creating a delivery.
Currently Batch Determination works by the sort rule FEFO i.e. First Expiry First Out & the batch quantity
Batch determination works fine if the batches are having different expiry dates.
But if the batches have the same expiry date we would like system to pick up the batch as per their Expiry date & batch number (removing the batch quantity).
Can any buddy suggest me how to configure it.

It looks in the sort rule you can use only one characteristic to sort the batches. So you can't use both the expiry date and batch number (BDBATCH-CHARG). While keeping the expiry date, you can try to add a routine (through VOFM) in the quantity proposal field of the batch search strategy type. This routine can have the logic to propose the quantity based on the batch number. Check with an ABAPer to add the logic.
