Multiple PR for Activity

Hello All,

My client wants to do a planning for quantities of material in a project but wants to create multiple PRs for that activity or material.

E.g. they require 5000 tonnes of steel for the entire project spread across 3 years,

But they would require about 50 tonnes in a months time, another 100 tonnes in another 3 months, etc.

So they want to raise multiple PRs for this.

Also the steel prices are not constant, hence we cannot create just 1 PO with delivery schedule.

Request your help to approach this issue.

Hi,

Use project MRP and generate only planned order. Convert planned order to PR as required.

I think you can also create partial PO for same PR as per requirement.

Yes that is also possible

But I would still create one PR with a delivery schedule - the prices are changing hence I would hedge
