Switching from HTTP to HTTPS in NW7.0 Portal

Hello All,

Please let me know what should i do to change the HTTP port to HTTPS port for SAP Netweaver Enterprise Portal 7.0 ( Only Java Stack).

isn't the http port already defined? What does system information say on the http://portalserver:port/index.html page: It will list your ports.

if system number is xx, http port is usually 5xx00 and https is 5xx01, unless set differently in profile parameters?

Is your question more than this? like how to enable ssl, install a ssl cert, etc?

It is still not clear what you want. you most likely have an https port. If you want to change it's number to the number you are currently using for http check out this link. Hope this helps.

We are using default port # 50000 (HTTP) and want to change it to 50001(HTTPS)...i need to know how to change it? also need to know are there any implications if we change it...
