Material without configurations in EDI sales orders

Hello all,

I'm testing sales order creation via EDI in SAP ECC6 version. We already this scenario in SAP version 47C but in the new version we have problems.

Let me try explain:

- We receive Idocs (ORDERS05) from customers.

- To identify the materials the customer can use their mat code, our mat code ou EAN code

- The materials can be standard or with open dimensions.

- When open dimensions we use the E1ECUCFG, E1CUINS and E1CUVAL segments to set the material characteristics.

- When the material is standard we only use the E1EDP19 to set the material code independent of type of material code.

The problem that we are getting is when the material is standard (we don't use the E1ECUCFG, E1CUINS and E1CUVAL segments). The sales order is created and looks ok, but in reallity is not.

Is missing material configurations like, packing type, boards per packing... We can look it on "fast data entry" tab from VA03.

And we get also an error in APO side with message "No address exists".

Anybody had the same problem?

Material error? ATP error? APO error?

HI Silva,

I did understand what exactly you need..

1) Are you creating sales order. If this is scenario then you have to pass all the characteristics and values

2) material do not have the char values no need to pass

3) In address try to pass all leading zeros an give the partner names a German words.

Please post if this is not your requirement.
