Hi Jyothi,

The difference between active DC's and Inactive Dc's is " Active DC's cannot be modified where as Inactive DC's can be modified with respect to coding"

Inactive DCs are not visible to other developers.

When you change a DC and check in the changes into the repository, you are modifying the inactive source of the DC. When you release the changes (activation) and it can be compiled, the DC becomes active and visible to other developers.

no, if you check in the code, other developers will see it.

usually active version means the code has no compilation problem at server side
