Launch Basic Job Request form from SM36?

Is there a way to launch standard SAP Basic Job Request form from SM36? Currently the systems are configured such that they are routed to Solution Manager for job scheduling. The user are routed to standard Job Control application (4step process). Is there a way that the system can be configured such that the Basic Job Request form can be presented to end-users when they go to SM36? This is much simpler and all in one page...

Jobs in Solution Manager usually are configured automatically in transaction solman_setup, step 7 of Basic configuration.

Hi Mateus,

Thanks for the response. I get the following message when trying to access the SAP note 894279.

The requested SAP Note is either in reworking or is released internally only

The job scheduling is configured and tested. There are two versions of the Job Request forms (Basic & Detailed). It would be nice to be able to launch the "Basic" job request form from SM36. The Basic form satisfies our requirements and is much simpler (less click throughs required).

I was wondering if we could influence which form gets launcded through some configuration parameter

Hello Jawwad,

please check out SAP note 1383398 - "Integration of Job Request into transactions SM36 and SM37" which describes what you are looking for. Actually the Job Request form is not the basic request but even a more simple one where several fields are filled automatically.
