Vendor groups/restrictions

Hello

Does anyone know if there is anywhere or anyway in SAP/SRM to create a group of vendors in order to restrict those that users can see/use when raising orders in SRM?

We want to be able to restrict some users from seeing all Vendors as they cannot seem to choose the right ones when raising an order which is causing more work and frustration.

Any help would be grateful.

Hi,

Probably, you can restrict users from seeing all the vendors by organizing your purchase organization. Vendors are assigned at purchase organization level and buyers belonging to a purchase organization or having responsibilities of the purchase organization can see those vendors which are assigned to those purchase organization.

You can think of the above way if possible to restrict users from using any absurd vendor for any buying activites.
