service or more specifically complex service with hierarchy is supported?

Dear Experts,

Does SRM support complex service procurement (service with hierarchies) in self service procurement business scenario (both classic mode or extended classic mode)?

A typical business example say, One user can create manual shopping cart with selection of model service hierarchy from MDM catalog. is it supported in latest release of SAP SRM? As per my knowledge, it was not supported in SRM 7.

Secondly, BAPI/ functional module is used or ESOA services are used to create PR/PO in the ecc backend (in the combination of SRM7 with ECC enhpk 4 or more)?

Hi Ranjan,

Complex Service Procurement is supported in Classic Mode with SRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0 (Ehp 4) SP5 onwards. ESOA architecture is used to create a Backend PO. You need to activate Business Functions in ECC to achieve this.
