cost planning in cj40

Dear Experts,

I did cost planning in Cj40 for version 1 i.e planning version.

when i display it in cj41 its ok.

but when i run a report s_alr_87013534 which is plan1 X plan2 X actual X commitment

system asks for

plan 1 = 0 version

Plan2 = 1 version

then in report no planned cost is there for in version 1.

Please tell me that whether i am missing some steps or what?

Hi,

Check your Plan version setting. IS the tick for Plan is ON ?

Also check the planning profile.

Check other reports S_alr_87013531, do get same result for version 1 ?

Hi,

Kindly check the following points:

1) Check the reports input parameters, means in the report while mentioning the 2 version check wht are the versions you are mentioning.

2) Check once again in CJ40 the values is plannned properly or not in version1.

3) You also check the planning versions ticked or not.

Hi,

Plan version setting you can check in Spro -> Project System -> COst -> Create CO version.

You can check plan version 1 settings for controlling area.

Also you can check the planning profile by tcode OPSB

Dear Experts,

for Reports system is taking,( by default)

for Planning Version 1 ECP cost

For Planning version 0 Cj40 cost by network

now the problem is I have not done any planning in ECP.

I did it CJ40 Version 1.

Now can i change default value of version 1 i.e. ECP to Cj40 Version 1.

Please suggest.

hi,

In SPRO setting for costs > planned costs > ECP > Co version for ECP make Version 1 for your controlling area. This will save your all ECP planning data by default in plan version 1.

While doing planning in CJ40 you have to select plan version manually in the selection screen,

Hi,

As you wrote that you did planning in version 1 and you can see it in CJ41 by seleting plan version 1.

in report s_alr_87013534 you are giving following selection criteris

Plan1 = 0

Plan2 = 1

So here system is giving details in Plan1 for the planning version 0

and in plan2 for the planning vesion 1

As you had not done any planning in vesion 0 so you are not getting data in plan1 and getting data in plan 2 as you had done planning in version 1.

Even in CJ41 if you select data for version 0 system will not give any data.

Hope this clarification is sufficient to answer your query.

I checked out the values.

in version 0 system is showing Network cost (and it should be like that)

but for Version 1 nothing.
