Hello Experts
I am mapped by default to a LOCL printer. Yet when I choose HARD COPY I get no print results.
Can you tell me how to troubleshoot this??

Are you using Citrix or SAP GUI?
For citrix check this out - http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX111307.
Hard copy in SAP GUI is not linked to LOCL printer. It is directly printed using your default printer. Check your default printer.
Other option is click ALTPrtSc then do CTRLV in word document. Print word document.
Check SU3 settings
