Linux Oracle (old) installation package

Hi Gurus,

my company must install SAP ERP 6.0 on Linux/Oracle. We have installed LINUX SLES 11 SP1 on our development server because we believe that SAP ERP 6.0 could be installed on Linux SLES 11 SP1 and Oracle 11g, but the installation package sent from SAP contains Oracle 10.2 and not 11g and also Linux SLES 10 and SLES11. There also was sent SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 4 while the Enhancement Package 5 was already delivered. How can we do to have the latest software releases?

You can also place a order through Service Market Place and SAP will deliver recent Software DVD's

where in the Service Marketplace can I insert the order for the recent software DVD's? Is it in SAP Software Catalog? Is ENHP5 available?

Hello Bob,

EHP5 is not available directly for download as well as not available through Software Catalog. You can raise a Support message to SAP under XX-SER-SWFL - Software Factory /Logistics. They will give you either the Download link or they will send you the DVD's .

unfortunately we cannot open an OSS message (we cannot raise a Support message to SAP under XX-SER-SWFL - Software Factory /Logistics) because we haven't yet installed the SAP Systems. How can we solve?

Hi Bob,

An installed real SAP system is not mandatory for registering a system in SAP Marketplace.

Go to Keys & Requests -> License Keys -> Request Permanent Keys.

Put your SID there, and after SAP approved your request, you can use that system to create an OSS Message.

If you need to download some latest which is not delivered with initial shipment then you can download the same from service market place.
