ORA-12850: Could not allocate slaves on all specified instances:2 need 1all

hi

I am trying to extended a datafile through BRTOOLS on our RAC enviroment and i am getting the following error, has anyone seen this before

BR1010I BRSPACE action ID: sefkdytn

BR1011I BRSPACE function ID: dfa

BR1012I BRSPACE function: dfalter

BR0280I BRSPACE time stamp: 2011-03-09 16.20.14

BR0301E SQL error -12850 at location BrTspListGet-21, SQL statement:

'OPEN curs_42 CURSOR FOR'

ORA-12850: Could not allocate slaves on all specified instances: 2 needed, 1 allocated

i did already check the value of parallel_execution_message_size on all the nodes which has the same value of 16384
