Working on WF errors

Hi Experts,

What are the ways in which the SMR workflows can be debugged other than the BADI's used for determining the approvers.If the workflow has ended incorrectly or is stuck up at a particular task,what are the transactions/ways to check the errros and correct or restart the workflow.

I am working on SRM 5.0

Hello,

I good start is check the WFL logs (SWI6, SWI1..etc) to see if any expecific error in the WFL caused error in the WFL.

I f the WFL is in error you can deleteit at SWWL e retrigger a new WFL at SWUE.

You can complete manualy a WFL via SWIA and afterwards release the document via SWO1 ( but this must be carefully checked because of the WFL preview will not have approver as you complete the WFL manually)

If workflow status is error, please check SWI2_DIAG transaction.
