Hi All,
We are having an issue in our GTS (Global Trade System - NW 7.01 SP06 Kernel 7.01 Patch 69) SAP system where the dispatcher is shutting down with the following error.
ERROR => System relno is 6400, patchlevel 0.20020600 [dpxxdisp.c
18256]
ERROR => but my relno is 7010, patchlevel 0.20020600 [dpxxdisp.c
18258]
DP_FATAL_ERROR => Release inconsistent with running system
DISPATCHER EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN ***
only Central Instance & SCS in same host (no Application servers) and Database Instance are different hosts. We restarted the OS for both the CI and DB and tried to bring the server up again. It came up for a while and it shutdown again with the above error.
Has anybody seen this error before? This is happening in our Production System.
Regards
Prakash
Hi Prakash,
Please check if kernel in DIR_EXECUTABLES and DIR_CT_RUN is same.
/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<nn>, the 'exe' directory under this should be in sync with the exe dir under /sapmnt/<SID>/exe.
Thanks,
Premlesh

Hello Prakash,
Please first make sure that kernel release is same on both CI and DB. Next check you environment variables. Ensure the correct kernel is being picked.
Also the kernel under /sapmnt/SID/exe/uc/<OSREL> and instance diirectory exe must be the same.
