Need help on java Mapping

Hi Folks,

I am new to java mapping. can u anyone please explain how do I do java mapping for below situation.

1. I need to collect a file from SFTP location

2. And placed that file in some other location of SFTP location.

3. The new file should be with time stamp.

Please help me how would I do this using java mapping in SAP PI 7.1

Why you want go for JAVA mapping for your requirement??

use SFTP adapter to pick up the file and send it to taget SFTP location.

Hi Raj,

Here I have 1 doubt because fo rusing SFTP adapter we cant archive the file because there is no archive location for SFTP adapter.

Presently I am working on SFTP as sender. I am able to picking a file from SFTP but I am could not able to archive that file because there is no option in SFTP adapter.

Can you please guide me how would I Solve this. Your help is highly appreciated.

Hi,

You have to buy third party adapters to read/send file's to SFTP.

search in sdn..some alternative discusions available.

Hi Raj,

I configured SFTP adapter but, there is no option for Archiving files in SFTP Adapter. For this I need to write a adapter module configuration. Please help me on this.
