Deletion of an existing user status

Hi PM Gurus,

I would like to know how the system behaves in case of user status deletion.

Example:

- in one of our User status profile, we have status E0001.

- many orders have this user status active or inactive (tables JEST and JCDS)

How the system will react after the deletion of status E0001 in customizing (TCode OIBS):

- will user status E0001 still active on the order? and displayed in IW33, IW39, ...?

- will it be possible to change a user status to E0001 again on existing orders?

- will it be possible to change a user status to E0001 again on new orders?

- will user status E0001 still visible on Change documents (table JCDS)

- ...

Once the user status is deleted in the IMG then i think it will automatically deleted from the order. (kindly check the status in Table) ,

it will not appear in the list of user status

Are you sure?

In that case that would mean that user status customization triggers a mass update of existing orders statuses (in table JEST + JCDS).

That seems odd don't you think?

it will update the orders, i haven't check the table level.
