Error while posting pipe line material consumption against cost center

Dear SAP Gurus,

I am trying to book consumption for pipe line material against cost center, while trying to save, the system is giving below error message "Balancing Field "Profit Center"in line item 001 not filled".

Any body help me to get solve this issue.

Which t code & movement type you are using !!

Is it MB!B--->201 ???

Yes,

MB1B movement type 201 "P" against cost center.

This is the issue of cost center assigment with G/L account .

As Rupesh suggested kindly consult to FI consultant ...........They can only help you

Dear,

Check first have you maintained the profit center in this pipe line material. Also check the pipe line inforcord are maintained for vendor with correct price.

Also check the profit center for Vendor line item .

Take help from you FI person also post it in to FI forum.
