Dear SAP Guru,

We are into implementation phase. Our Dev and QA server was ready and we have done all the customization and transport done upto QA system only.

Now recently the production server has came and we have installed the SAP System.

I would like to which is the best way to copy or replicate the quality client to production?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Hi Vijay,

If you want to replicate only customisation then you can follow client copy with profile SAP_CUST as mentioned in the last thread. But instaed of remote client copy you can follow export import method also. As remote client copy needs downtime for quality client as well.

But above method will not copy your cross client objects like ABAP developments etc.. For this you need to transport directly into production.

Hi,

SAP never recommends to do client copy to production system.

Best way to do is transport all changes to production environment.

Thanks

Vijay,

Please do a remote client copy using SCC9. For new installation you might want to copy SAP_CUST profile.

If it is ECC system, then you might need to create FINBTR RFCs.

Do you have any more questions?

Sujit.
