Scaling for PI 7.1

I have a simple question about the scaling for PI 7.1 documentation. In section 3.2.2, SAP PI Internal Communication, is there just one web dispatcher between the Integration Server and Adapter Engine? Or is there two? It's a simple question, but it's not obvious from the diagram.

Hi George,

It's one WebDispatcher for Integration Server and Adapter Engine (ABAP + JAVA).

I guess I should plan on adding the additional server nodes too. I only have one per application server now. I'll do the web dispatcher first and then add the nodes. What do you think?

Hi George,

They idea is just what we recommend over here.

Try using at least two server nodes each and aggregate with the WebDispatcher then,

as you mentioned. By the way, it's similar to what the note says to us.
