Getting DP_ERROR_GENERAL

Hi, I have archivelink set up in our ECC 6.0 I am able to attach a document sometimes. And sometimes i get the error "Error in HTTP Access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1 ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED"

When i tried to open the document attached i get the error "Error when opening document with HTML Control DP_ERROR_GENERALu201D.

I tried to search the forums. I got some options but none of them worked for me.

Can anyone tell me if i am missing any setting.

Resolved : Increased the Timout parameters in ICM

Dear Suresh,

Please go to transaction OAG1 and deactivate the data provider cache.

In order to verify a possible workaround, please create the following additional entry with in table SDOKPROF:

NAME: USEHTTPPLG

VALUE: OFF

The remaining fields can be left blank. Are you still getting the same

error afterwards?
