We want to Install Adobe Life Cycle Designer so is it free or we have to buy with proper license.Does it come along with any SAP packgae(Like SAP GUI) or is it a seperate package.
Could you please let us know what is the process.
Hi,
Adobe Lifecycle Designer is a tool which has to be installed in developer's local machine. It is free of cost and can be downloaded form SAP Service Market place provided you should have a sUser id.

Hi Katie,
SAp GUI 7.0 comes with ADLC 8.2 X by default.
make sure you have 8.2.3 as until 8.2 there is a bug in designer which keeps increasing file size adding redundent tags.
But unfortunatly I could see this issue in 8.2.3 X also.
What i did was I installed 7.2 gui and a stand alone adlc 9.x (I couldn't find anywhere in service market place if SAP supports 9.x)
As long as you dont use enhanced elements or scripts which differ between 8.2.3 & 9.x everything should work fine.
What I suggest is if you have netweaver stack 7.0 with ADS then go with GUI 7.2 & ALDC 8.2.3.
Hope this helps you,
Cheers,
Sai
