Hi All,
I'm getting a "Service Cannot be Reached" error. Do you have any suggestions on what could be the problem or where to look?
The direct URL to SRM-MDM works ok for me, but when trying to access from SRM-Portal, I get the following error:
========================================================================
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://xxxxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/sap/sapsrm/outbound_hdlr call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system XXX with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?
Please select a valid URL.

Hi,
Have you defined the Web Service for MDM in SRM SPRO settings? (SPRO-MasterData-Content Management-SRM-MDM Catalog)

Hi,
Activate all services under SICF. Also refer to note 1145305.
Also go through http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SI/ServicecannotbereachedERRORWhileExecutingLeaveRequest+Workitem
This may not exactly be your problem, but may be you can probe your issue through this.
