IDoc adapter inbound channel: Error Connection err

Former Member

Hi,

We are trying to push an IDoc from R3, it's status is green in WE02. However, the IDoc is not reaching PI.

In tcode SM58 in R3 we are getting an error "IDoc adapter inbound channel: Error Connection err". I have gone through the SAP note 940313 but was not able to figure out the exact cause of error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Pravesh

Hi,

ask ur basis team to check the type 3 connection from r/3 to xi in sm59 is working fine or not......if not, then ask them to rectify this connection........

Hi,

Both the RFC destinations of type 3 in R3 and PI are fine. We have checked Remote Login and Connection Test.

Both are successful.

sorry to bringing this up 4 years later, but this is to advise people that I fixed this issue on my SLD system by adding this authorization for the SLD user

S_XMB_AUTH (ACTVT = 16, SXMBAREA = RUNTIME

Hi,

This error occurs when not able to read exchange profile parameters .....for determining business system of ECC/R3

Go to PI system and execute SLDCHECK there must be an error in PI system ...

SLDCHECK is working fine in PI.

Could you provide some more details as what needs to be checked in Exchange Profile as the note I have mentioned is also having the same reference.

in Exchange profile, see the parameters for integration server......hostname, port, user credentials.........hostname should be FQDN..........

Hi,

There was some issue with the authorization for RFC user. We are now able to receive IDoc's in PI.

Thanks

Hi,

Please check the steps for Idoc posting to SAP PI system from R/3. Probably you are missing some configuration.

Few Checks -

1. did you created Logical System using BD54?

2. Create RFC destination Type 3 for PI

3. create partner profile using we20

In Pi

Check following

1. Create RFC destination of type 3 pointing to R/3 system.

2 . create Port using the IDX1

3. Using IDX2 import the IDOC meta data

Hi,

We have already checked the ALE settings, RFC destinations and IDX1 and IDX2.

All the settings are fine. Still the issue persists.
