Hello,

I wouldn't recommend u to use such a large file(~500MB) with PI. Max capacity of PI to handle the message volume will depend on ur hardware configuration.

However, you can configure the message size limit with the parameter EO_MSG_SIZE_LIMIT parameter in transaction SXMB_ADM.

Sami.

Hi,

if its just a file transfer using PI then from PI 7.1 ehp1 onwards you can use the option of splitting the file by Setting the message size in adapter by enabling the Quality of service as EOIO....and by using chunkqueue....

This option will not support for doing any mapping operations only for transfer...

Hi,

It is difficult to estimate a maximum file size that PI can process. But if you are working with PI 7.1 EHP1 this Blog could be really helpful.
