Quotation appearing on MD04 list instead of sales order?

Hi,

can anybody help me i got a issue where quotation appearing on MD04 not the sales order .sales order is also created and its a varaint matearial.despite of sales order why quotation is appearing on MD04.I have less idea about MD04.please guide me

First identify what schedule line category is flowing in quotation. Next go to VOV6, select that schedule line category and execute. Ensure that the field "Req./Assembly" is blank.

In md04 i can see just below the quotation number ,there is PO and if i see in the PO in the account assignment tab instead of sales order ,quotation is appearing.could you plz suggest me what could be the issue and proposed solution for this.

It is a valid scenario to include the quotation in MD04. If you wish to avoid this you may:

1. Configure the schedule line type so that it does not transfer requirements

or

2. Set the probability of the quotation being accepted to zero.
