Change the characteristics length

Dear Guru,

I have made a material grid which contains two characteristics:

Material grid: GR4TomTailor

Characteristic 1: GSize, Data type: CHAR, Length: 4

Characteristic 2: GColor, Data type: CHAR, Length: 3

Data contains already all characteristics.

But I need to change length upto 4 for characteristic GColor.

Is there any body to advice me?

Hi Bishnu,

hope you are talking aboput the characteristics cretaed in ct04.

go to the same t code again and now in the change mode,

increase the length .

as it is a standard functionality.

note that only the chracteristic length can be increased it cant be decreased.

it will surely help

Actually it is not possible to change the length in existence. SO, I created again with my required length.

To be more precise

Go to CT04 enter GColor in Change mode and enter 4 in characteristic field.

How come change characteristic once it was exists in change mode !!!

Do you have any other idea???
