Easy question in QM - Cancel Line Item in QA33

Can anyone tell me the step to cancel the line item in QA33?

What's the step that i need to beware / prerequisite ?

use tcode mm02 , in QM view, cancel inspection type '03', then you will not get inspection lot when you release po.

What do you mean by cancel line item in QA33?

QA33 is just a displays transaction based on QALS table.

You can display/hide inspection lots in QA33 using selection profile.

(For example, you can prevent display of all cancelled inspection lots using selection profile)

To really cancel a inspection lot(not just hide it in QA33.), You have to set Inspection lot status to LTCA ( lot cancelled).

How to set this status depends on inspection lot origin. For example

Manually created inspection lots can be cancelled in QA02 transaction. While,

Inspection lot automatically created from purchase order Goods receipt, is automatically cancelled when GR is reversed in MBST.

Yes , you did answer some of my question & Thank for reply , but My Inspection lot automatically created from process order when i release the order.

What is the inspection type?

For inspection type 03

in CO02 / COR2 click on Process order > function> inspection lot --> delete.

For inspection type 04 -

Cancel the material document that created the inspection lot. You can MBST or MB31/102 movement.

Also in QA02, you can click on Inspection lot --> function -->Cancel lot.
