portal server upgrade to SPS22 from SPS18

Hi Team,

We are Upgrading portal server from SPS18 to SPS22. I need to understand below points. Please help me if any of you have done it before.SAP notes are helping me, but not completely.

What would be changes in server settings, components supporting applications, application side during/after upgrade?.

Thanks for reply. I would like to know where can i find application level changes.Our application is developed is NWDS SP 18.Once we upgrade the server NWDS is also to be upgraded to SPS22 right? This would need applications re-design?or application created will work finein SPS22?

Is it possible to get SAP note explaining feature differences between NWDS7.0.18 and NWDS7.0.22?

Please explain.This is where I am stuck up.
