D/ Friends,

What is the difference between STO with billing & STO w/out billing?

What is the billing type used in STO with billing & what is its doc flow in terms of T.Codes & doc types?

Thanks.

Hi,

We have intercompany STO and intra company STO. Inter means Stock transfer done between plants representing different company codes. Whereas intracompany means Stock transfer done between plants of Same Company code.

In the case of Intracompany STO we create STO transport order using order type "UB". it will be done in ME21N. Then we create replenishment Delivery (NL) and if needed proforma invoice. Once PGi is done then the stock will be intransit ie if two step procedure. If one step then stock will be automatically updated in receiving plant. If two step we do MIGO at receiving plant and Stock increases.

In the case of Intercompany STO we create STO transport order with order type "NB" ie normal purchase order. Then we create replenishment delivery (NL) and invoice. Once PGi is done then the stock will be intransit ie if two step procedure. If one step then stock will be automatically updated in receiving plant. If two step we do MIGO at receiving plant and Stock increases.

Regards,
