Content Server 6.40 installation on MAXDB7.8

Hi

I am installing SAP Content Server6.40 on MAXDB7.8 on AIX6.1. I am getting following error.

There is no classfactory for action:DB_CREATE Version :7.8

ERROR 2011-03-06 11:35:32.845 [iaxabactorext.cpp:465]

CIaSdbActorExt::sdbSessionExecute_impl

MDB-07001 No action defined for actor.

The dbmcli call for action DB_CREATE failed. SOLUTION: Check the logfile XCMDOUT.LOG

Hi

I am installing content Server 6.40 on unix AIX 6.1 version. We already have content server based on maxdb ver 7.7.04 working on other system.

Sorry - missed that point...

Neverless, you should install using 7.6 and then upgrade:

Note 1299254 - SAP Content Server on AIX 6.1 and AIX 7.1

Check

Note 1399009 - Content Server 6.40 on Windows Server 2008 and Win2008 R2

You have to install using 7.6 and the upgrade the database.

Yes since this is new installation, I am using root user

Start subprocess as user with uid: root

Did you execute this as root?
