Credit Check in VA02

Dear Experts,

We are using automatic credit check with reaction as D - Error.

It is working fine in VA01, But if order is saved with value within credit limit and then through VA02 if user increases the quantity or Value system gives warning message and allows to save the document with block for delivery.

I know we can block this document in VA02 by selecting Block check box in OVA8,

I also know that this is standard functionality of SAP as per SAP Note 706034.

My requirement is I want error message if Value exceeds credit limit in VA02 also.

In any case order should not be saved with value more than credit limit in VA02.

Please advice how can we solve this issue.

Std SAP work like that only what u mentioned, u can put the validation in VA02 Convert in to C to D.

Dear Mayank,

Have you assigned any routines under NO CREDIT CHECK under Document controlling??

In case your document is already released, and in VA02 - you are not getting any error, then check have you assigned anything under Released documents are still unchecked??

I believe, either of this could cause the problem in your case..

Dear Venkatesh,

1.) We are not using any routine under No Credit Check.

2.) In VA01 order cannot be saved with block since we have configured error message if Order value exceeds credit limit.

so there is no question of releasing.

Yes. You have already mentioned that you have Reaction as D. I missed it..

Have you assigned any values under the section "Released documents are still unchecked" in OVA8??

No we have not maintained any values under the section "Released documents are still unchecked" in OVA8.

In OVA8 settings which are maintained are:

Static Check - Check box Ticked

Reaction for static Check as D

Status/ Block for static check is checked

Check box for open order and open deliveries is Checked.

Apart from this there is no other settings are maintained in OVA8.

Just to be more specific about my requirement.

I want to convert information message to Error message which appears in VA02 when you exceed credit limit.

Static credit check: credit limit exceeded                                  100.00 INR
Message no. V1150

In VA01 this same message V1150 appear as an error message. But in VA02 this message becomes information message.

reaction D and status/ Block is already checked.

Just to add we are using static check with Open orders and open deliveries.

Even if i use deviation in % it blocks the document for deliver but i dont want block.

I want system should give error message instead of Information when value exceeds Credit Limit.
