Question 2: it sounds like you haven't created your saprouttab file. In the documentation you linked there is a section at the bottom called "Route Permission Table"

Your saprouttab file should look something like this :

# Access from the local Network to SAP
P 10.1.*.* 194.39.131.34 3299
P 10.1.*.* 194.39.131.34 3299

# Access from the local SAP Servers to SAP
P 192.168.7.* 194.39.131.34 3299

# Deny all other connections
D * * *

Question 3: This is used by the saprouter to setup the connection securely.

Question 4: When installing SAP Router always use the latest version

If you have other issues please provide details from error files etc.

Chris

HI,

You can create the file manually, using an editor, just name the file saprouttab and place it under

/usr/sap/<saprouter> folder.

The contents of this file should be something like,

  1. SNC-connection from and to SAP

  2. Old KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 3299

KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 *

  1. SNC connection from SAP

  2. old KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 3297

KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 *

  1. SNC-connection from SAP to local R/3-System for Support

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 10.100.1.* *

  1. Access from the local Network to SAPNet - R/3 Frontend (OSS)

P 10.100.1.* 194.39.131.34 3299

  1. P * * *

  2. deny all other connections

  3. D * * *

Please refer to SAP Notes: 30289, 35010.

Vishnu.
