Can anybody suggest scenario, how to migrate from ms sql (windows ) to sap maxdb (linux ).
Which tools are used for migration during export and import of database.

You can only use one tool for this purpose, and that is sapinst (which will use all required tools for you).
Check the heterogeneous system copy guide on http://serrvice.sap.com/instguides for the procedure.
Bear in mind that (for productive instances) you need to be a certified OS/DB migration consultant to execute this..

Using sapinst can i perform migration successfully for above scenario, if yes, what are the pre requisites for doing migration.
As I already mentioned, download and read the heterogeneous system copy guide. All prerequisites and steps to be taken are mentioned in the documentation.
