Error-You are not authorized to create an ASN with current MD configuration

When I am trying to create ASN in the web UI I am getting an error message "You are not authorized to create an ASN with current MD configuration". I have setup the confirmation control in SNC and I also have the authorization role for creating ASN (SAP_SCM_ICH_ASN_SUP and SAP_SMI_ASNSUPERUSER). Does anybody know what this error is? It is not allowing to save the ASN.

The message class is /SCF/CL_MESSAGES_ASN and the message number is 263

We recently upgraded from 5.0 to 7.

Hi Soumen,

Assign SAP_ALL profile to your ID and check whether it allows to create ASN or not.

If it allows creation of ASN which means no issues with SNC configuration but issue with roles.

Even after SAP _ALL profile assignment it still gives error then go to set confirmation control setting in SNC and maintain/change below entry:

Order type:Purchase Order

Sup.Conf: Optional

ASN: Optional

Save this setting and try to create ASN.

We applied OSS note 1503933 as suggested by SAP (the note description is wrong). Now I am able to create ASN. However I do not see any queue getting generated once I create the ASN. This could be a different issue.
