Hi,
First of all pls check if the JDK verison you have installed is supproted by SAP or not.
Also check java -version from cmd prompt to check if JAVA_HOME is pointing to correct location.
Perform these activities and let us all know.

Dear Sarat,
You should use JDK 1.4 to install any SAP system.
Then you should set the variable JAVA_HOME to you JDK home directory (for example: C:\java\j2sdk1.4.2_13-x64)
and then add the JAVA_HOME to the PATH variable, for testing you can run the java -version command.
Hope it helps.
Thanks in adavance.
hi Sarat
I have just completed one of my installations.Actually Sap supports java -version less then 1.5. So check your java -version and install 1.4 java and set your JAVA_HOME and SAPINST_JRE_HOME environment variable, If problem still persist then please post the environment variable which u set.
Thanks

Hi,
I think you are not installing the correct java runtime thats why system is not recognizing this. Download runtime environment from below link:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/SAPsite/download.html
Thanks

Hi,
do you want to change the JDK used by the J2EE engine?
If yes, please refer to the note

If not, could you please be a bit more specific about your scenario?

Ervin
