Change of Shopping Cart in SRM7.0 ( Classic)

Hi Experts,

We are configuring SRM7.0 with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario.

We donu2019t have any Workflow for approval in SRM for any document . Shopping Cart create Classic PO in ECC and the in ECC there is Release strategy in place for approval.

We want to change the Qty in the Shopping Cart and that should be reflected in the already created Classic PO. I tried it, by Selecting the EDIT button in Shopping cart , but all fields are greyed out except Name of Shopping cart.

Can anyone suggest/confirm , how I can change the Qty in the SC ?

Thanks

NAP

Hello,

After approved, edit button in shopping cart header is only used to enable the "delete" button at item level.

Once fully approved, it is not possible to add or change cart items.

Thanks Ricardo.

Is there is not any option by doing enhancement or something anyhow so that Qty can be added/ reduced / line item added , once SC created and auto approved .

Thanks

As Manjunath mentioned you should not alter the SC quantity once it has been approved. This is not correct Business wise.

However if you still wish to do so then ensure that shopping cart creator has the administrator role in addition to purchaser role.

This will not reflect in your ECC PO however and hence is pointless

Hi

Even if there is no SC approval, there should auto approval enabled in your system after which the PO is created in the ECC backend.

Once SC is approved you will not be able to edit it. Once the PO is created the right place to change the qty. will be the PO itself as it may be subjected release strategy.
