Content Server 640 installation on Windows

Hi

I have installed Content server 640 on windows 2003. IIS is also running.

When i try the following URL, i don't see the content server running:

http://<HOST>:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

I get the message "The page cannot be displayed"

Can some body help me please...

Hi,

Have you performed the post-installation config for content server like under web service extension service in IIS, check content server dll is allowed ?

Contentserver.dll is already allowed in Web Service Extentions.

Hi,

Please make sure that under IIS and in websites, right click on the content server and go to properties, make sure that directory browsing should be selected there and also make sure that on Application Name under home directory, you should click on create initially.

Hi Pavan,

Make sure permissions are set as below note (even though is says 6.30 it applies to 6.40) regarding "NETWORK_SERVICE" user.

Also, read

Note 851146 - ODBC driver cannot be loaded on Windows 2003

That most likely will fix the problem
