Not getting Constraints dropdown....for Roles in MDM Console

Hi,

I want to use constraint feature for selected lookup value.

1. I created a separate Role. By selecting the role., I clicked Tables and Fields There are 3 columns Name, Access and Constraints..

Here is the question..

I am not getting dropdown in constraint column for lookup table... This is a flat single Valued look-up table and only used in main Table. Do I need to check any stting anywhere? Repository I created is custom repository.

Constraints can be used for the Masks table and some lookup tables (those referenced by at least one single-valued lookup field and no multivalued lookup fields), you can specify the set of masks or lookup values that should be visible and accessible for that role.

I have checked this thread. This is NOT applicable to me. Mine is reference to only maintable. Yes, Main table is used in Other Main table also. Will this have impact??

Just to update.

I created one more repository utilizing standard Business content of material and enhanced with same fields used in 1st repository mentioned in above question. This time I am getting constrain dropdown for the look-up tables Whereas I am not getting this dropdown for my custom made repository for any look-up table other than mask and name search.

Am I missing anything??

Hi Rajesh.

For which role you are checking? You can't modify the constraints for Admin role.

Also can you check if constraint is visible for other roles like Default etc?

I am checking for newly created role. It's not visible for any role.
