ALV list to EXCEL ideograms

HI Guru,

when I try to save a ALV LIST to Excel in the result I get is a mixture of excel file correct letters and ideograms.

My desk system is composed of Windows Seven, SAPGUI 7.20 SP4, Office 2007.

My SAP system is SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 SAP_BASIS 620 sp 30, SAP_ABA 620 sp30, SAP_APPL 470 sp14, kernel 620 sp1393

Do you think is a problem with the release of SAPGUI or SAP / OFFICE

Office 2007: 32bit or 64bit? SAP is only compatible to the 32bit version.

Hi,

the operating system and all applications are 32bit

With Windows XP, SAPGUI 620, Office 2003, the problem does not exist.

The problem there is with XP, SAPGUI SAPGUI 710 and 720, Office 2003, Offfice 2007, Office 2010, all 32bit

I would suggest you try updating the SAPGui locally to sp6 pt2, as in my environment ( WIN7 with Office 2010) this works.

Seems there have been a lot of Additions made that allow the interaction with the "newer" Excel versions.
