Hi,
I want to use Hindi language in smartform. I used I18N t code to change text editor as MS word for SAPscript and Smartforms.
But it is not working in my case.I m using ECC 6.0 IDES.
Plz guide me for this. How I18N can be customized for Hindi Language.?
Hi,
if you have a Unicode system and you use the MS Word editor then you should be able to enter Hindi characters in the MS word smartform editor. To print, you should make sure that you create the spool and print via unicode device type SWINCF.(see SAP note #812821)

Aidan

Hi,
Go to transaction I18N .
Click on I18N Customizing->Correspondance Language->Give Correspondance Language(New Language) and Master Language->Assign.
Then go to Back.
Then in the same I18N Customizing->Set MS word as Editor->Check(tick) Smartforms->Activate.
Then try to continue your process..

Hi,
can you describe in more detail what your actual problem is ?
Do you use forms with language key Hindi ?
Did you try to copy&paste Hindi data ?
Best regards,

Hi,
On the Menu, have you activated the I18N checkbox? It is under the button "Customize Local Layout" (Shift + F12) --> Options --> I18N tab.
