WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset to peer

Hi Guru's

One of my user is facing the follwoing problem.

When he is trying to connect the sap system

It is throwing the following error.

SID: connection to partner <ip> broken

WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset to peer

I asked him to re-install Sap GUI 701 but still the issue persists .

May I know what could be the probable reason ?

Check the ping statistics on user machine to determine if there is any packet drop happening. In short any network problem.

Hi

Cgeck the network, if the issue is becouse in a while client and server lose the connection. Maybe the firewall on windows or external firewall have a timeout for active connection

Thanks folks

I asked my user to re-sych the SAP GUI Files from the server to his desktop and thereater the issue got resolved
