Hello Experts:

I have a simple yet perplexing question...

I am attempting to create a new Inspection plan. Before starting to load a new one... I want to verify if it already exists

via QP03.

To view: I will need a material number, a plant number and a GROUP... I cannot find the group...

Can you tell me where to find a group associated with a material number???

Many Thanks. SAP Rocks

Hi

Can you tell me where to find a group associated with a material number???

Go to the T-code QP60 (Task list changes) there keep the cursor on Task List/Recipe Group and give F4 and go to the Tab "Search using material".

There give the task list type as "Q" and enter. You will get the material code, plant, group, group conuter etc

If you want to see the Missing/ Unusable Inspection Plans for Materials use the T -Code QP06.

This report program creates a list of missing inspection plans for materials

Please give a try and let me know

Regards

To display inspection plan for a material you do not need group number.

In QP03 enter material and plant only. If material already has only one inspection plan, SAP will display it.

If multiple plans exists SAP will ask you to select group and group count.

Also you can verify inspection plan, material assignment in MAPL table.
