Hi,
SLDDSUSER is getting lock due to wrong password in one of JAVA system not sure where
Due to wrong password in one of java system SLD Data supplier SLDDSUSer user in solution manager getting locked.
I have created a copy of SLDDSUSER to SLD_SID and added roles/Groups on Java Engine of solution manager
SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER
LcrAdministrator
SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR
LcrUser
SAP_SLD_SUPPORT
LcrSupport
LcrInstanceWriterAll
SAP_SLD_GUEST Guest role
SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR
SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER
updated the user details in SLD Data supplier and trigger the data transfer to SLD but it giving the error
"Failed to generate and test CIMOMclient Object"
"Error while sending HTTP data. Status: 401. Message: Unauthorized. Please check if the target SLD system is available and the SLD bridge is started there."
Above is working fine with SLDDSUSER and J2ee_admin
any ideas
Regards
Mazher
Hi,
I agree with Vamshi. Try logging to SLD with newly created user and check if you can access the SLD with that user.
Then trigger SLD data through VA again and reply.

Dear Mazher,
Kindly note that SLDDSUSER should only be used by sld datassuppliers to send
information to the SLD. SAP best practice recomendation is that you
use a unique user for each system in your landscape which is reporting
to the sld SLDDSUSER_<SID>. This is the configuration i would
recommend for you.
If your SLDDUSER is getting locked, that means it is been called
with the wrong password in one of the following locations:
- SLD data supplier Java (in 7.0 in Visual Admin -> SLD Data Supplier
Service first tab)
- SLD HTTP client (in 7.0 in Visual Admin -> SLD Data Supplier Service
second tab)
- SLD ABAP data supplier (transaction RZ70)
- SLD ABAP client (transaction sldapicust)
Therefore, you need to check the passwords carefully in all of the
above locations.
And regarding the error "Failed to generate and test CIMOMclient Object"
please note that the authorization that is needed for the CIM client is
"LcrInstanceWriterLD" (or SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR) on the SLD.
Please check your UME configuration in the SLD as described in
the SLD User Manual or Post-Installation Guide at
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-sld.
Please check the SLD log (-> SLD UI -> Administration -> Log) for
relevant errors.
Kind Regards,
Abhishek

Hi,
Did you try logging with the newly created user. If you have created the user as default user then you have to login and change the password. Once you login check if you are able to administrate SLD with this user. Make the sld user as a technical user.
Regards,
Vamshi.
