Hi all,
The rest of XI is up and working , but I cannot access the audit log(hostname:port/MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp).
I get a page cannot be displayed error.
What could cause this? I have restart the instance and still get the error!

Check the Adapter monitoring is working ..
Did you check this URl- http://<host>:<J2EE port>//mdt/MSArch
Refer these SAP Notes-768456.
Check the exchange Profile entry based on this SAP note.
