We want to activate the inspection type 04 for some materials.But our requirement is it should trigger inspection lot only for certain sales order type.
As posted already, for that you'll have to use the user exit. Basically you would use the exit to suppress the creation of lots for those sales order types you don't want inspection lots created for.
