Distributed Contract Item Cannot be Deleted?

Hi Experts,

We use SRM 7.0, central contract. We were surprised to find that after contract released and distributed to ECC, the items of it cannot be deleted any more. Is that a standard behavior? If so, how do we close/delete the contract item in ECC? Many thanks.

Yes Darcy you are very correct.

Once contract distributed to backend system and that item can not be deleted from SRM system.

You can do one thing

You can make the item as INACTIVE and distribute to backend end again .

lock - is only for whole contract

If you have source list in ECC, you can make your contract item not to be used.

Deletion is possible only if contract is not yet distributed .
