SAP TAO - QC 11?

Just wondering if anyone is aware of when SAP TAO and the SolMan client will be compatible with HP QC 11, QTP 11 or ALM 11 (the enterprise version of QC 11)

Trying to work out a timeline on when we would need to upgrade but as we use TAO quite heavily need to align with when TAO is intergrated with QC 11

Thanks for that Paul. I'll keep an eye on it. Do you know if there is anywhere that show's when a planned update would be? Just trying to work out when it would be done so can put some detail into our upgrade path.

Hello Emma,

You can also try the Product Availability Matrix http://Service.sap.com/pam and look out for the next release of SAP TAO, as that might

be an indicator as to when to check if HP QC 11 is supported yet.

Since this is a compatability issue, availability of patches will be meaningless as you will not know what the patch addresses until it is available. You already have the link to check the compatibility matrix. When there is support it will be listed there and it will state which versions and sp levels of SAP TAO are required.

I would think this should be available soon however.

Hi Emma,

I am on the same boat, I want to upgrade SAP TAO with QC & QTP 11. Last week, I spoke to HP and SAP & told me SAP is not selling SAP TAO with ALM / QC 11 & QTP11. SAP is still under validation process with ALM11 so don't know when they will release new version of SAP TAO WITH ALM11.

That is a real strange case, QC (ALM) 11 has been around since October, given HP's issues with Windows 7 64bit clients, QC 11 was supposed to be a savior of sorts.

But reading the hardware requirements list from QC 11, it looks like a blunt NO

Hope SAP would let its customers use TAO and ALM 11 together soon though

Right now yes. Based on the matrix, June 11 SAP released 2.0.5 SP1. I haven't tried but i will plan now.

Here is the latest update as of today.

The support of ALM and QTP 11 has been released to the customers with the latest TAO 2.0 SP5 patch 2

And the customers who are willing to use ALM /QTP 11, will have to upgrade to SAP TAO 2.0 SP5 Patch 2.

Hi Paul,

My client started using SAP TAO 2.0. I do not have any idea about this. Could you please give some documents, so that I will get some idea, we are using HPQC.
