Hi all,
As stated above, just had a question, can we change the pricing in the sales order after invoice.
when we proceed for sales order with reference ti invoice or quotation, can we amend pricing in the sales order.
I think i know the answer which is ''yes''..
But i didn't understand what interviewer wanted to check..
Can someone let me know what exactly that person wanted to check ???
Thanks
Hi Abhi,
I beleive if there are more than 1 line item in the sales order and the one of them is billed it cant be changed as alreasdy stated by Mr.Lakshmipathy .
but on the other hand the other line item which has not been billed can be done a price change and ,also if you want the same item which has already been billed in the sales order you can renter the item as second line item and change the price and bill it accordingly.
Hope it helps

I dont think even for partially invoiced quantity, you can update the price in sale order. The update button will become grey once a line item is invoiced be it a partial or full quantity.
thanks

Hi
If the order is partially billed then we can change the price in the sales order.
But for the already invoiced we cannot change the pricing.
For this if any price escalations you can go for credit or debit memo.
For price changes which already billed we use supplimentary invoice
